Street Fighter is a phenomenon.  One of the best selling fighting series of all times.  It innovated the combo system and introduced us to many firsts including the first female playable character and the most devastatingly sexy Russian wrestler of all time.

From the original Street Fighter game released in 1987 to the latest installment, Street Fighter V, we'll dive deep into the history, lore, and gameplay mechanics that have made this series a favorite among gamers for over three decades.

We'll also take a look at the evolution of the game's graphics and music, as well as the impact that Street Fighter has had on the fighting game genre as a whole.

Part 1 covers the inception of the fighting series, Street Fighter 2 and its 7 variations, as well as Street Fighter Alpha and Street Fighter EX.
