Hair of the Dogcast

A podcast about Video Games and Beer.  And Beer and Video Games.

Hair of the Dogcast is a family of podcasts celebrating our love for gaming and craft beer.  Our show include the following:

The Dogcast - The classic, tried and true.  The Dogcast covers the most recent news and developments in the gaming world.  We discuss what we have been playing and have a light topic discussion.

Raw Dogs - The Raw Dogs like to go deep.  Deep discussions in lore, development, and gameplay.  Single topic.  Deep discussion.

Elden Dogs - An Elden Ring podcast series that explores the deep world-building and gameplay scenarios presented by this rich video game.  We couldn't help ourselves and had to make a 20 part series to celebrate this game.

Beer and Now - Welcome to Beer and Now, our new podcast series about the exciting world of craft beer and the people who make it happen.

Dude, this episode's totally a 10!  Well, at least numerically speaking.  The Dogcast gents have officially made a full recovery since we last met and all headaches and hangovers have moved on.  Guess that means one thing: it's time to celebrate with more beer!  Woo hoo!

Since it's now officially Fall, this is the time of year where the gaming floodgates open and new games flood the landscape like a tsunami.  So. Many. Games.  So what does the Dogcast do about it?  Well, we do what we do best: we jib and jab about our most-anticipated (and most hated) holiday games, that's what!

Oh, and since we've moved on to a new season, we take a look back at the summer movie season and give our review of the overall season.  Was it good?  Was it "meh"?  Did it lick a bag of balls?  Listen and find out (Hint: it wasn't the first one).

Oh, and we have a new website!  Visit us at hairofthedogcast.com!  You can get all the episodes there too.

I'm in for Gears 4 co-op. Campaign, horde, whatever...love the co-op though. I'm on PC (which is brand new for me...my gtx 1070 is still in transit). Gamertag: World Minus One (you'll get that).

If you haven't yet, try a New Glarus Scream IIPA. Yum. Keep it rockin'.
